Maharashtra Board HSC 12th Result 2020 Updates: Pass percentage improves, result available at mahresult.nic.in


 HSC Result 2020 Maharashtra Pass Percentage: 90.66% clear MSBSHSE exams; girls outperform boys with 93.88% to 88.04% HSC Result 2020 Maharashtra Pass Percentage| This year, 90.66 percent of students cleared the Class 12 exams compared to 85.88 in 2019, an overall increase of 4.78 percent.Pass percentage jumps by 4.78 per cent.


Over 15 lakh students were registered for Maharashtra Board class 12th exam this year. Out of the 15 lakh registered students, 3.39 lakh students are from Mumbai division alone, which consists of Thane, Raigad and Palghar. This year, 1,919 students with special needs were registered for the MSBSHSE exams. Out of the 15 lakh students, 3.39 lakh students are from Mumbai division alone, including Thane, Raigad and Palghar. A total of 1,919 students with special needs are also registered for the MSBSHSE 12th exams. The Maharashtra HSC exams were held from February 18 to March 18.

 A total of 14,20,575 students appeared for the exams of which 12,81,712 students passed the exams.


The students to apply for revaluation of their scores between July 17 to July 27 and for photocopy between July 17 and August 5 on the board’s official website. Fees for the same can also be paid online. Students who wish to apply for revaluation have to first secure a photocopy for their papers and then apply for revaluation.

Distinction - 143441 students

1st grade - 513575 students

2nd grade - 579667 students

1st grade - 45029 students

Total passed - 1281712 students


Maharashtra HSC Results 2020: Stream-wise results


In the Science stream, 96.93% of students have passed. In Commerce and Vocational stream 91.27% and 86.07% of students have passed respectively. In Arts stream 82.63% of students have cleared the exam.


Maharashtra HSC Results 2020: 39.03% of repeater students pass

Out of the 86341 students who took the repeater exam, only 33703 could pass making the pass percent of 39.03%

Girls of all division perform better than boys in Maharashtra HSC Result

This year, girls in all the nine divisions have outscored boys in the Maharashtra class 12th exam. In the overall performance of fresh students, 88.04% boys and 93.88% girls have cleared the exam.
